A secret spot in Vermont: North Hero.

My favorite thing about traveling? Serendipity. The moment that you just start driving without a plan and stumble onto something wonderful.  Specifically in America, driving around looking at the beautiful scenery and the houses that you’ve only seen in film settings, is something I love to do; and more often than not, you will find a nice local place to eat that tourists don’t know about. My mother and I discovered North Hero by accident, a small place in the state of Vermont.

Visiting the prestigious Harvard University.

My boyfriend and I visited Boston a while back, and of course, being in Boston one cannot miss out on visiting America’s first institution of higher education: Harvard University, where we took a 2-hour walking tour around the prestigious campus. Visiting Harvard really interested me, as I was very aware of the fact that Harvard is ranked as the best university in the world and has been the home of many of history’s important individuals, from US presidents to the founder of Facebook. To go back to university, specifically the idea of studying among the intellectual elite of the world, is something I very much desire. Unfortunately, for many of us, Harvard is but a dream.

A tribute to New York City

New York,

A city that has captivated me like no other place ever has before. I started this blog to share with you my experiences and adventures in different places all around the world. As New York has left the biggest stamp on my heart, you will probably see quite a few blogs pass by where I will rant on about all the activities you can undertake in this enchanting city. However, for me to do this, I have to spill it out there; unless you’ve been to NYC, you can’t really give it justice in words to someone. Ouch, that’s a bad start for a blog! Nevertheless, I feel that, before writing anything else about NYC, I have to try to explain to you what can’t be explained.
